I really appreciated the opportunity to attend the 2025 NOOS Annual Meeting. I got to meet many other scientists from different countries also working on Northwest European Shelf oceanography, who I likely wouldn’t have had the chance to connect with otherwise. Hearing about the range of NOOS research has been valuable to my work and has given me a sense of community as a shelf seas researcher. – Alice Richards, UK Met Office.
